>>> iran's new president is saying the u.s. is look iing for an excuse to confront the country over its nuclear program . the newly elected moderate hassan rowhani has been sworn in this morning, the inauguration.

>> reporter: good morning, the inauguration of the new president is a cautious hope for change not just for the people of iran but also for negotiations over iran's nuclear program . the new president replacing mahmoud ahmadinejad is hassan rowhani . he was warmly endorsed by the supreme leader saturday when both men say the way forward for iran is through moderation not extremism. but the real question is, will this new president mean that iran with its economy withering under tough international sanctions be more willing to negotiate giving up nuclear ambitions? that is the change the u.s. will be look iing for. now back to you.
