At least 85 killed in violent clashes in Egypt

NBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin reports from Cairo, where violence between Egyptian security forces and supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi resulted in dozens of deaths. Egyptians are bracing themselves for more rallies today.

>> good morning. egypt is bracing itself for another rally organized by supporters of the outsted president. the toll is close to 120 but officially the death toll stands at 85. these are clashes that erupted between supporters of the president and security forces . that has many people here afraid that in the coming hours egypt's military and police could attempt to try and break up this sit in that's been in a part of cairo since the president was removed from power on july 3rd . there's also efforts to try and resolve this peacefully. the top foreign policy advisor is in the country and will be meeting with representatives in an attempt to try to stave off further violence.
