Britain’s newborn prince makes his debut

In a moment many around the world were waiting for, the future king made his public debut on the steps of St. Mary’s Hospital, where he was born just a day before. TODAY’s Natalie Morales reports.

>> he has a good pair of lungs on him, that's for sure. he is a big boy . he's quite heavy but we're still working on a name.

>> reporter: and in case there were any doubts about the diaper changing abilities of his dad. earlier in the day it was a parade of grandparents visiting. first, the middleton.

>> they're both doing really well.

>> reporter: next a proud grandfather, prince of whales along with wife camilla.
