Giant asteroid and its moon set to fly by Earth

According to NASA scientists, a 1.7-mile-wide asteroid approaching Earth along with its own 2,000-foot moon is the same size as the one that wiped out the dinosaurs millennia ago. Fortunately, the colossal rocks will keep a safe distance when they swing past at 4:59 p.m. ET today.

>>> unusually fly-by from a giant asteroid, the 1.7-mile wide rock will swing by us about 4:59 p.m . eastern time and along with it is a surprise bonus rock it turns out the asteroid has its very own moon. now if you were thinking an asteroid big enough to have its own 2,000- foot wide moon is large, you are right. the asteroid is apparently the same size that wiped out the dinosaurs but it will keep its distance fortunately at a very safe 3.6 million miles away . no worries there.
