Several people missing after Texas tornadoes

As residents in Texas begin to clean up after devastating tornadoes ripped through the state Wednesday night, authorities are searching for several people who are still missing. The Weather Channel’s Mike Seidel reports.

>> reporter: good morning, tamron. late yesterday seven unaccounted for, two were found in a nearby shelter and hoping the other five show up with friends and neighborhoods. it was an ef4, the strongest storm in dallas in 20 years. 16 twisters, the ef4 here and ef3 in cleburne. also displaced by the tornadoes locals pets and one showed up this morning, this cat loving the attention from our crew and this is just another part of the impact of this tornado, pets roaming the streets. the folks here at this subdivision have been told they cannot get back to their homes for at least a couple of days. in the meantime we'll take care of this nice cat hanging around and probably pretty hungry.
