Star Jones talks battling heart disease

In honor of National Wear Red Day to raise awareness about heart disease, Star Jones, a national volunteer with the American Heart Association, speaks about how you can keep your heart healthy through exercise, diet, and more.

>> at least 30 minutes a day, which is what the aha recommends, and a whole fitness program, which will be movement base based.

>> your doctor has tailored a diet just for you. it would be different for everybody. what is he telling you?

>> take out the kninight shade vegetables like potatoes and peppers and put in things like avocado, that kind of thing.

>> we'll hear more about that as the month goes on.
