>>> for 14 years, darrell hammond entertained audiences on "saturday night live" with his spot-on impressions of bill clinton --
>> bullet proof.
>> regis philbin --
>> that's the headline!
>> donald trump , of course.
>> the apprentice.
>> cut, cut.
>> and dr. phil.
>> do you use q-tips when you clean your ears?
>> among many, many more.
>> this saturday night he's going to be live again, but he'll be performing at the garden of laughs comedy event at madison square garden . it benefits to support kids being homeless due to foster care . i love seeing those old clips.
>> do you ever get sick of them?
>> those old chestnuts, no.
>> this is a big night you have coming up. there's a great lineup of comedians.
>> the best standups ever. i mean, if there was, like, a hall of fame --
>> ray rama knno, wanda sykes .
>> little old me.
>> are you going to be doing impressions?
>> whatever the garden wants me to do. i'm looking for rangers tickets. they said, you know, if they want me to tap dance , that's what they are getting.
>> your buddy bob costas is hosting this thing. you do a great impression of him.
>> he doesn't think so.
>> he doesn't like it?
>> he's been teasing me for ten years that i can't do it. he came up to me the first time i met him, okay, just picture this. you're like in awe of this dude. he walks up to you, and he goes, you've got the great clinton, you've got the great gore, but you can't do me. you try to do me, and you fail utterly.
>> and after that, you guys became good buddies.
>> actually, yes.
>> al sharpton is another guy. he wanders the hall around here.
>> we've heard that is your favorite.
>> it is my favorite, because he's colorful, powerful. i played all these colorful, powerful dudes. you can see, i got nothing, you know, i'm, like, bland compared to the guys i play.
>> show us sharpton. what's he do that's unique?
>> he is utterly himself, very unique to just be yourself, you know. how does he go -- you know -- i grew up here in brooklyn, and i would come home from school and my mother would make blueberry pie . i would sneak some of the pie. she would say, you sneak pie. i said, no, i didn't sneak pie, but i would have blueberry all over my face. that's how i feel about republicans. we didn't wreck the economy, but they got blueberry all over their face. they were the ones eating pie!
>> that was so good. we love you. the garden of laughs comedy event, this saturday, january 26th at madison square garden . the best, the best.
