Author: Don’t teach boys to be ‘gentlemen’

Lynn Messina, a blogger for The New York Times, says that many codes of behavior being taught to kids are outdated, such as training only boys to be “gentlemen.” She is joined by clinical psychologist Jeff Gardere, who explains why it’s important to teach boys and girls alike to treat everyone with respect.
