Sorting through ‘The Myths of Happiness’

Most people think big events like getting married and having kids are what make us happy, but a new book, “The Myths of Happiness,” suggests that misconceptions about those occasions may be a threat to long-term happiness. Matt Lauer reports and talks to the book’s author, Sonja Lyubomirsky; Gretchen Rubin, author of “Happier At Home,” also offers her take.
