Blogger speaks out about her own son’s mental illness

Over the weekend, a blog post titled “I Am Adam Lanza’s Mother” went viral online. In it, a mom blogger relates the story of her son’s struggles, concluding, “It’s easy to talk about guns. But it’s time to talk about mental illness.” She comments on the post, and psychiatrist Gail Saltz  and Andrew Solomon, author of “Far From the Tree,” offer their own analyses.
