Pitcher Barry Zito announces MLB toy drive donation

>>> we're so happy so many good people have donated gifts to the needy children in our toy drive. 30 million in all great gifts. toys collected by kerry washington today. some are on their way to new york and miami. a special donation from major league baseball . starting pitcher for the world championship san francisco giants barry zito and his wife, amber, are here. welcome, guys.

>> what donation do you have?

>> we are here, representing major league baseball . they have three of their licensees, toys companies donating to the boys and girls club of america . national design makes this stationary right here. it's all licensed with major league teams. we have tstuff for boys and girls of all ages.

>> you can order these toys for the holidays, get your favorite team logos. it's really cool.

>> yeah. and then sports toys. this is funny because it's actually me, i think, on there with the beard.

>> number 75.

>> i see the likeness.

>> world series edition. they have these. and ppw toys makes these little wooden trains here.

>> that's pretty cool. thank you.

>> kids will love that. who all is helping out with major league baseball ? did you hit up all your good buddies to come together for this?

>> oh, yeah, we're all trying to come together for, obviously, the toy drives across the country for christmas. it's a great cause and, you know, we just love being part of something bigger.

>> it's been the most incredible year. just to see him do what he has done, i feel extremely blessed and honored to be part of it, yeah.
