TODAY toy drive receives backpacks worth $150K

Stephanie Yost, executive vice president of ABCMouse.com, presents custom backpacks filled with books and learning materials worth $150,000 to the TODAY toy drive.

>> what's packed in your backpack for the kids?

>> believe it or not, what i have here is actually the gift of learning from abcmouse.com, which is an award-winning online educational website for kids ages 2 to 6. the site has a complete curriculum for preschool, pre-k, and kind ergartekindergarten. meets criteria for math, science, we teach online activities for kids that are really fun and engaging. books, animations, games, printables, everything.

>> we teach all that stuff. inside the backpack, believe it or not, there are hundreds and hundreds of hours of learning and fun right here. wouldn't think it.

>> how many of these are you giving away to kids this year?

>> over 600 of them. inside this pack backpack are illustrated hard-cover books for children , two fables, three beginning reader books, dvd with 26 full-length music video .
