>>> this morning on "take it off today," staying in shape during the holiday season . onewoman has a unique approach. here is xm radio host jenny with her video blowing for the treadmill and guess what? she's lost 70 pound in the process and guess what, she is here with me on making exercise more of a treat. less of a chore. good morning, good to see you.

>> hi, tamron.

>> we're from afar. live your life on a treadmill so you put me on the treadmill with you. i'm going to kick it up a notch so i don't look lake a wimp. like most women, i want to work out, and i don't find it fun but this video blog was really an inspiration that got you going.

>> i was already doing a lot of video blogging and so i was also spending a lot of time on the treadmill so i figured why not combine the two.

>> rate.

>> does this come natural to you?

>> oh, yeah. i multitask when i'm on the treadmill. i have a computer and laptop that i hang and i started recording and talking to my listeners and answering questions while i was working out.

>> you find that you do both. you're doing the burn and juggling all the other busy things you have going on.

>> i have therapy via skype on my treadmill, talk to my friend on the treadmill, make appointments on the treadmill, take care of my kids from the treadmill.

>> and you even answer questions from people on twitter, your fans.

>> yeah.

>> and we have a couple of them. let me get the first one in here from molly. molly says what's the best way to get yourself motivated? i work a strange schedule and getting myself up and going has been rough. amen, molly. so what's the answer?

>> i think first all the fact that molly tweeted a question means she's already motivated so let's start there, and then i think she has to find what she likes, if there's an exercise she wants to do or start with one thing. maybe if she it's a soda drinker, drink less soda.

>> how many days a week do you work out?

>> seven.

>> this from olivia, do you you really need cardio? is it worth it? is weight training better?

>> in my experience whatever you are going to do, if you like to lift weights, lift weights, if you like to walk walk. run up and down the stairs. i can get everything down seven days a week.

>> how long are you on the treadmill?

>> days i spend all day doing stuff on the treadmill, that's nuts, but most of times an hour.

>> are you human?

>> i'm a mess.

>> so like an hour. do you walk or do you run?

>> i walk at an incline because i can't text and type and call.

>> and we this have question. i have a 2-month-old and three-year-old, can you tell me how to post my post- baby bell ?

>> no targeted approach, i have a snack pack .

>> i like that, sounds better that be muffin top .

>> but unless i'm willing to have it surgically removed so that's my business.

>> as lange as you're health and living with your shape.

>> of course.

>> you can't get so nuanced, it's about your heart, your mind, your body, yourself. i'm going to kick it up a notch?

>> aim going to run.

>> you run and i'm going to text. thanks very much. up next, practical tips on planning for your retirement.

>> oh, my god, no. but
