Restaurant puts Italian grandmas in the kitchen
Enoteca Maria in Staten Island, N.Y., is giving new meaning to the term “family-style restaurant.” The restaurant is employing a team of real Italian grandmas, or Nonnas, most of whom have little to no restaurant experience, to cook every dinner like they’re cooking for family. NBC’s Mara Schiavocampo reports.
