GIF is Oxford American Dictionaries word of the year

GIF, which stands for “graphic interchange format,” is being honored by the Oxford American Dictionaries as the word of the year, as more people use the format to create simple animations that often highlight funny moments, including our very own Al Roker. TODAY’s Natalie Morales reports.
