Survivors of Katrina help victims of Sandy

“It’s time for us to help everybody back,” said New Orleans mayor Mitch Landrieu. After Katrina, firefighters from New York and New Jersey lent a helping hand, so residents of New Orleans are sending both necessities and messages of hope to those impacted by Sandy. NBC’s Janet Shamlian reports.
