>> on this, but i used a really inexpensive fabric and like me the thing would be destroyed with stains and everything else on it, i put a glass top on it so then all you have to do is wipe it down. the fun thing about that is you can layer underneath it. i did these little place mats.
>> they look like paper mats.
>> exactly.
>> it's left over wallpaper.
>> oh.
>> and you can change this out for holidays and different seasons, and it makes cute little permanent place cards for your kids.
>> even the flower arrangement , very simple, but just creates a whole elegant feel, right?
>> yes. i like simple.
>> over here now to hanging pictures. this is something a lot of us stress over and really can't quite figure out is where to place them and not create a lot of holes in the wall .
>> unless you want your wall to look like swiss cheese , this is a real great tip.
>> take whatever art you have and make a craft paper template out of it, and that way you're free to kind of arrange them the way you want and you're not pounding holes in the wall and once you get your combination exactly the way you want, it remove the template and hang the picture up there.
>> hang thetic tour.
>> without the plastic tape behind it.
>> take the tape off.
>> so colorful tape though, and the great thing is you anchor it with one piece, a big piece in the middle and then you go around.
>> and you can mix and match. frames don't have to match.
>> and i like a variety of prints and paintings and really mix it up.
>> taking a look at some of your client's home, amanda peete's house, things incorporated throughout and what i love is this gorgeous console table, and to me it really is about how you establish sort of a nice setting for everything without cluttering it.
>> exactly. i love a multi-tiered console like this from pottery barn because it really gives you an opportunity to have fun and display. this is an opportunity to bring out all your personal belongings but without cluttering, so you start with multi-layering heights. this is my anchor and drop down. books are fantastic accessories. inexpensive and look great and then different varying heights and space and ending with a little plant right here.
>> nathan turner, all so great. thanks very much. kathie lee and hoda coming up after
