>> when last we visited, i was on your show and asked you what you were going to do here and you said drink. i thought you were kidding. that's basically all you've done here.

>> actually no. i was in the opening ceremony . the olympic ceremony, one of the sick kids getting kicked in the opening ceremony . they were playing prodigy. it was a beautiful moment, thrilling for me, and i just never, ever, ever will forget it.

>> it has been somewhat of a glorified pub crawl for you, isn't it?

>> i love london , doing the olympics, great. i see it from my hotel tv. give it up for london . you guys are killing it out here. it's so fun. i went to an event, went to track and field .

>> how was that.

>> they are running, pole vaulting for their country. they get up in the medal ceremony. if you have add, there's ten events going onon at once, a woman shot putting over here. like watching aspca commercials, just crying my eyes out. i can't stop crying. i can't look. i'm just going to leave.

>> i just love it. i love the people. everyone is going all out for the olympics. they are so nice. they are doing a great job. they are so welcoming. just, i don't know, like the people, the colors, the old buildings. beautiful.

>> as you say give it up for london , can we give it up for jimmy fallon nominated for not one but two emmy awards in the last couple of weeks. not only for your show but guest host on "saturday night live."

>> just the icing on the cake . we had a great year. i can't complain. it's like too much stuff. again, i'm going to try not to get emotional.

>> i got a note. is it true you're being considered to host the oscars?

>> no. i'm not going to do the oscars. it's not -- i was honored to be asked by the academy, but it's not my year. yeah.
