NATALIE MORALES, anchor: Attorneys for the Connecticut woman who was mauled by a neighbor's pet chimpanzee say she is deeply disappointed by the state effort to block her attempted lawsuit. Charla Nash says the state failed in its duty to restrict dangerous animals as pets, but in legal papers filed on Thursday, Connecticut 's attorney general says taxpayers should not be held liable for injuries inflicted by a privately owned chimp.
