ANN CURRY, co-host: Back in July, Marine Corporal Kelsey De Santis made international headlines when she posted a video on YouTube asking Justin Timberlake to go with her to the Marine Corps Ball .

Corporal KELSEY DE SANTIS (Attended Marine Ball With Justin Timberlake): So, Justin , you want to call out my girl, Mila ? Well, I'm going to call you out and ask you to come to the Marine Corps Ball with me on November 12th in Washington, DC. And if you can't go, all I have to say is cry me a river .

Well, the ball was this past Saturday night. Justin Timberlake did attend, and we're now joined by the lucky young woman, Corporal Kelsey De Santis . Good morning.

CURRY: Good morning. How are you?

Cpl. DE SANTIS: I'm doing great. The question is, how are you? For all the young women who didn't think about posting a videotape asking Justin Timberlake to a ball, how would you describe seeing him for the first time face to face , wearing that tuxedo?

CURRY: It was wonderful. It was a really good experience. He had a big smile on his face and so did I.

Cpl. DE SANTIS: What was the sweetest moment of the entire evening for you?

CURRY: The sweetest moment definitely was right after the ceremony ended and being able to see his face as well as everyone else's face. He had a smile on his face. You could see he genuinely cared about what it is they saw and it was just a really good experience altogether.

Cpl. DE SANTIS: Afterwards he posted a blog and pictures of himself almost in tears, calling this night the Marine Corps Ball one of the most moving of his life. Your reaction to that?

CURRY: It's so true. If you haven't been, it's something that it's hard to put in words. But I was most honored that he said the things that he did in his blog.

Cpl. DE SANTIS: In fact, one of the things he said is "Send your thanks," talking about people in uniform, "The next time, do whatever you can, write a letter, type an email, hell, buy them a beer the next time you run into someone in our armed forces in a bar." You're smiling. Your reaction to that?

CURRY: I think that's wonderful, absolutely, and it was a -- it was a great piece of writing, and I think that anyone and everyone that has the opportunity should take that up.

Cpl. DE SANTIS: I understand that you got Justin on the dance floor . Now, I know you're brave. Did he bring the sexy back?

CURRY: Of course. The whole night was extremely, bringing sexy back, I guess you could say. It was a good time. We're on the dance floor -- we're on the dance floor and having a good time at the table, joking and laughing, so it was altogether really great.

Cpl. DE SANTIS: I know all of this attention about this has probably been fairly intense. Do you have any advice for Sergeant Scott Moore , who I understand is going to be taking Mila Kunis this Friday to his Marine Corps Ball ?

CURRY: Advice? I don't think he needs it. With the video he came out with, he seems very confident, and I'm confident that he'll have a great time just like I did, so.

Cpl. DE SANTIS: Well, Corporal Kelsey De Santis , I'm sure that all of the men and women you serve with who are attending the ball you attended were so glad to have that little star power at your important event. Thank you so much for joining us this morning. We're glad you had a chance to have that moment of joy.
