President-elect Donald Trump is TIME Person of the Year for 2016

03:15

Donald Trump is revealed as TIME magazine’s Person of the Year by editor-in-chief Nancy Gibbs, exclusively on TODAY. “When have we ever seen a single individual who has so defied expectations, broken the rules, violated norms… I don’t think we’ve ever seen one person have an impact on the events of the year quite like this,” Gibbs says. Hillary Clinton came in second on the short list. The issue will be on newsstands Friday.
