Michael Phelps on conserving water and his April Fools’ comeback prank

Swimmer Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time, visits TODAY to talk about lending his celebrity to a good cause as a paid spokesperson for Colgate: the #EveryDropCounts campaign for Earth Day. “I’ve lived in water my whole life, I know important it is,” he says. He also discusses his tweet about a comeback at the 2020 Olympics, making it clear it was only an April Fools’ prank.
