Kevin Spacey had ‘crazy idea’ that inspired upcoming performance at tennis stadium

Actor Kevin Spacey is taking over New York’s Arthur Ashe Stadium, a venue for tennis’ U.S. Open, later this month to reprise his role in “Clarence Darrow,” a one-man play about the “Scopes monkey trial.” He tells Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist how a Phil Collins concert, a “crazy idea” and a little convincing got the project off the ground.
