Florida Gov. Rick Scott: Important we ‘do not lose one life’ to Hurricane Matthew

Speaking to TODAY by telephone, Florida Gov. Rick Scott says there is “no reason to be taking risks” about Hurricane Matthew and that Floridians in low-lying areas still have time to evacuate. Now that President Obama has declared coastal areas a federal disaster area, Scott says the first things Florida is asking for are food, water, and tarps, but they’ll also need debris removal crews and generators.
