Colin Farrell on ‘absurd’ new film, Met Gala and Harry Potter prequel

03:48

In his new movie “The Lobster,” an award winner at Cannes, Colin Farrell portrays a man who must find love in 45 days – or he’ll turn into an animal. The actor admits to Savannah Guthrie that the movie is “absurd and odd and strange,” but adds that it’s “ultimately moving.” He says that if he had to turn into an animal, he’d prefer a falcon to a “bottom-feeding crustacean” like a lobster. He also comments on attending Monday night’s “beautiful” Met Gala and starring in the coming Harry Potter prequel “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”
