Audio of Omar Mateen’s 911 calls during Pulse nightclub massacre released

00:52

Orlando police have released new audio recordings from the June 12 Pulse nightclub massacre. On the chilling 911 tapes, Omar Mateen tells a police crisis negotiator: “You have to tell America to stop bombing Syria and Iraq.” A SWAT team swarmed in about three hours after the initial 911 call, killing Mateen. In all, 49 people were killed and 53 others wounded. A judge will now decide whether to release more than 200 other calls made during the rampage.
