Shelly and Ken Murray spent a day last July driving the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park, stopping at every viewing area to take photos.
The road parallels the southern shoreline of Lake McDonald, the park's largest lake, covering almost 11 square miles.
The weather was beautiful that day, with brilliant blue sky and little wind, Shelly Murray told TODAY.com.
"The lake was clear with the exception of this one paddle boarder, who happened by between the peaks of two mountains," she said. "The paddle boarder cast a gentle ripple on the water."
