If TODAY fans didn't get enough of a blast from the past thanks to the awesome TV throwback Halloween costumes the anchors donned Thursday, there was still more to come: Classic throwback music acts Vanilla Ice and Loverboy rocked the plaza and scared up some fun dance moves.

Vanilla Ice popped up first, flanked by dancers outfitted as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to bust a few moves with his "Ice Ice Baby" mega-hit from 1990. Afterward, the costumed anchors had a birthday cake brought out to celebrate Robert Matthew Van Winkle's 46th birthday.

Then it was time to haul out the rock 'n' roll, as Loverboy took to the plaza to remind everyone with their 1981 hit that they were "Working for the Weekend." Afterward, singer Mike Reno said he's still thrilled to be on the road with the band.

"I'm really getting used to it after 35 years," he chuckled. "I take three weeks off, I start staring at my luggage."

Ice returned later on to talk about his new reality TV series, "Vanilla Ice Goes Amish" and to show the anchors some of his other mad skillz, like how to distress a brand-new piece of wood to give it a little age.

He raps, he stains wood. What more could you ask for?

"Vanilla Ice Goes Amish" airs on the DIY Network on Saturday nights at 10 p.m.
