He may think of himself as just a regular guy "from a small town in Georgia," but country star Luke Bryan discovered to his delight on Friday that he's got lots of fans from all over, including New York. On his visit to the TODAY plaza, the Academy of Country Music's Entertainer of the Year took the stage to play four tunes, including "Crash My Party," "That's My Kind of Night," "Drunk on You" and a song picked especially by TODAY viewers, "Country Girl."

"To come to New York and play the TODAY show and see fans lined up on the streets of Manhattan," he told TODAY's Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie between songs, "I don't know if you can ... if 'surreal' describes it. I haven't slept in a week."

He also added that his ACM honors (he also won "Vocal Event of the Year") have really turned his life upside-down.

"The fact that it was fan-voted, and just the way the whole night went down," he said, adding that the whole night was "a dream come true. ... I just love the way everything has happened."

And it shows when he takes the stage. Be sure to watch all of Bryan's performances, and pick up a copy of his new album, "Crash My Party," which was released Tuesday!
