A man in a ninja costume drove his car through an Apple Store in Greensboro, NC early on Friday morning. It is thought that he was attempting to rob the store.
My Fox 8 reports that police were alerted of the bizarre incident around 4:43 a.m., but details are still scant:
Greensboro police received a call around 4:43 a.m. after a dark gray or blue Honda crashed into the store. According to police, the man crashed into the store in a robbery attempt.
Officers said the man fled the scene without stealing any items from inside the store.
Police described the suspect as a white male wearing a white shirt and hooded mask. According to 107.5 KZL, a security guard said the suspect was wearing a white ninja suit.
Around 6 a.m. the car involved in this story was reported stolen. There appears to be no other information at this point, but local Twitter user @Natallini snapped a photo of the accident scene and explained that police were scouring the neighborhood for the suspect.
