Candace Cameron Bure, best known for her role as D.J. Tanner in "Full House," stopped by TODAY on Tuesday to talk about her new TV movie "Finding Normal" on GMC TV. The actress and mom, 37, was sporting a contemporary sheath dress that was perfect for spring.

Bure said while she wishes she could dress in the style of certain eras, she's more comfortable keeping it modern with sleek ensembles from designers like Alice + Olivia.
"My favorite era is the '50s," Bure told TODAY.com. "If I could dress like a '50s housewife everyday, I would, but I feel too costume-y in it. Today I really like clean and contemporary and modern, which is fun for me."
