Country music trio "The Band Perry" rocked the TODAY plaza on Friday, and the siblings also rocked some edgy threads to go along with the edgier content of their latest album "Pioneers."
Did you like what the group was wearing? Here are the details:
Kimberly Perry
- Armani dress
- Casadei boots
Kimberly Perry, 30, said that the group's wardrobe has always seemed to reflect their music, "hence all the black leather of late."
"'Done' just feels like it should have been coated in black leather," Perry told TODAY.com of their hit song, "so every time we've been on stage lately or done award shows, we've been in leather too."
Perry said her personal style is rooted in her love of contrast, and that she takes full advantage of being the lone girl in the group.
"I'm a girly girl on one hand, but I'm a tomboy on the other," Perry said. "I feel like I get to have fun with dresses and some feminine things, but also pair it with some crazy leather boots, accessories and hardware like metal necklaces."
Neil Perry
- Dolce and Gabbana jacket
- G-Star jeans
- Liberty Boot Company boots
Neil Perry, 23, said his wardrobe is based on collections, citing the charm necklace he wears full of tokens he's collected on his travels.
"My mom got (the necklace) for me, and one of the charms we got at the Vatican in Rome, and the Pope actually blessed it, so that was pretty cool," he explained.
Reid Perry
- James Perse shirt
- Lost Art pants
- Ralph Lauren belt
Reid Perry, 24, whom the others describe as the "coolest" member of the band, said the main staple of his outfit is leather.
"I always wear something leather (points at his leather pants) and people always ask 'aren't they hot?' and it's really not!" he laughs. "I also wear cowboy boots all the time, but that's caused me to fall several times on stage, right on my back."
