Last year (almost to the day!), Duchess Kate debuted an uncharacteristically hippyish, peace sign-patterned Mulberry frock.

Today, the Duchess pulled it back out of the depths of her closet for the official opening of the Natural History Museum’s Treasures Gallery in London. The frock is called the “Peace & Love Jacquard Full Pleated Shirt Dress,” from Mulberry’s Fall 2011 collection, and she paired it with her Jimmy Choo “Cosmic” suede pumps.

The emerald frock’s long, billowy sleeves and all-over pleats give it an unmistakably '70s vibe, which is only emphasized by Kate’s freshly-layered 'do. She showed off her trimmed bangs at a rugby match earlier this week, but with the added curls tonight she seems to be channeling Jaclyn Smith in "Charlie’s Angels."Between this look and the sheer, Stevie Nicks-esque Temperley number she got her groove on in last month, we can only hope that bell bottoms and platforms are next on the royal agenda.

What do you think about her new look? Tell us in the comments!
