New hair, don't care! Recently single Taylor Swift debuted a funky new haircut over the weekend and we're completely on board. Her piece-y shag with bangs looks trendy and fresh, further cementing the '70s-inspired style as the hottest cut for fall.

Swift's shoulder-length hair was updated by hairstylist Gareth Bromell, who shared the look on his Instagram account. He credits colorist Tracy Cunningham with the golden hue.

Her brow-grazing bangs are also a change from the side-swept style we're used to seeing as of late, and we think they add a sexy, tousled look that goes perfectly with her signature red lip (we hope she won't be straying from that classic look anytime soon).

Even though Swift's change wasn't too drastic, she used strategic, messy layers and a kicked-up blond color to give an updated feel, proving that sometimes a little refresh can be as satisfying as a full-on transformation.

The new cut comes right on the heels of her breakup with actor Tom Hiddleston, but Swift has a long history of frequently updating her hair. We'll chalk this one up to her stellar style rather than any residual breakup trauma.

And like all the best haircuts, it's even better in motion:

You do you, Taylor!
