Kate Middleton showed off the first hint of a baby bump at the Royal Variety Performance at the Palladium Theatre in London on Thursday.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a black lace, floor-length Diane von Furstenberg dress, fitted to reveal just the slightest bump from her second pregnancy. The look was completed with a chic up-do and drop earrings.
On the way into the event, the royal couple met pop royalty One Direction before the boy band performed for the Royal Variety Performance, an annual event that aids elderly, sick and distressed UK entertainers.
The event was one of the first times the duchess has stepped out since her September pregnancy announcement due to her struggle with a rare pregnancy complication, hyperemesis gravidarum. Middleton suffered from the same condition during her first pregnancy with now 1-year-old Prince George.
The next royal baby is due in April.
