Eminently quotable though he may be, has Karl Lagerfeld gone too far in his latest critique?
According to the iconic designer:
"Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for [Prince William]. I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties. On the other hand, her sister struggles. I don't like the sister's face. She should only show her back."
While we are most certainly in agreement that Pippa, 28, has an exceptional derrière, she by no means "struggles" in the face department. A similar debacle occurred earlier this year when Lagerfeld said in an interview that singer Adele was "a little too fat." He later apologized.
One woman he does, however, express admiration for is Victoria Beckham:
"She is great. I like her a lot. I have known her for many years... And that body, after four children. There are not so many who have a body like that. She is very disciplined. We have the same eating habits. We did a full fashion shoot with her styled as Coco Chanel in less than three hours."
But even Ms. Beckham doesn't hold a candle to his "famous beauty" of a cat, Choupette Lagerfeld. She's some stiff competition.
