Plaid and stripes and cars, oh my!
If you needed proof that the TODAY anchors don't have a "what should we wear?" conference call every morning, here it is, called "patternpocalypse" by Al Roker:
Natalie, Savannah, Matt and Al did not get the "let's just go with solids" memo Thursday.
Matt cracked that Savannah's dress is from the "'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' collection."

"People who wear plaid suits shouldn't cast stones," Savannah laughed (Matt nodded along with the joke, knowing it was coming). Matt's plaid suit is famous in TODAY fashion circles. It has its own Twitter account.
Why let Matt have all the plaid suit fun, when Al could join in with his own version?
Just think what would have happened if he chose this one instead.
Finally, Natalie's lovely sparkly dress really rounded out the anchor desk's general look.
