Grace Kelly's grandson, Pierre Casiraghi, weds Beatrice Borromeo in Monaco

Think: custom haute couture, a party that spans time zones, and a crown to top it all off.

Custom haute couture, a party that spans time zones, and a crown to top it all off. We can only imagine there was some true love mixed in there as well, and — though we don't have confirmed reports to back us up — the food was probably pretty awesome, too.

Good luck topping that, summer brides.

Yes, it's real, and yes, there are photos to prove it. Though the religious ceremony hasn't happened yet (that's going down Aug. 1 on Isola Bella in Italy — one of many island this family owns), Italian heiress, model and TV personality Beatrice Borromeo technically joined Monaco's royal family this past Saturday when she wed Pierre Casiraghi.

If the couture and time zones and imagined true love wasn't enough to excite you, you should know that Casiraghi is Grace Kelly's grandson and the youngest son of Princess Caroline of Monaco.

The bride kicked off the wedding in a custom Valentino haute couture gown in pale pink and gold lace silk chiffon and a floral headband, worn to the civil ceremony on Saturday.

Then, it was off to the oh-so-casual 700-person breakfast reception, at which point Borromeo changed into a "more relaxed rustic ensemble complete with white gloves," according to reports from Hello.

A third event Saturday night at the Hôtel de Paris saw her switch into an evening gown, also designed by Valentino.

But this is a royal wedding, and three parties didn't quite cut it. A fourth was held on Sunday with a tropical theme, and the bride wore a fruit-printed dress by Marta Ferri.

We're eagerly awaiting the outfits to come.
