They say beauty is in the eye of beholder: When you ask men to create the perfect female face, and then ask women to do the same, you get two very different results.

The Daily Mail reports a recent survey from escentual.com, a beauty retailer, asked both genders to build perfect faces using different features from notable singers, models and actresses.

The final face from the guys showed a blond with a button nose, bold brows and full lips, according to the newspaper—or, more specifically, Shakira’s hair, Miranda Kerr’s nose, Jennifer Aniston’s forehead, Duchess Kate’s eyebrows and Angelina Jolie’s lips and cheekbones.

The women, on the other hand, went for dark brunette locks, a strong profile and narrow cheekbones, the Daily Mail adds—Freida Pinto's hair, Keira Knightley's cheekbones, Cara Delevingne's eyebrows, Blake Lively's nose and Scarlett Johansson's lips.

“Interestingly, the faces are made up of a mix of different ages—38-year-old Angelina Jolie was men's preferred choice for cheekbones and pout while 21-year-old Cara Delevingne was the women's top choice for eyebrows,” a spokesperson for escentual.com tells the newspaper. “Meanwhile, Shakira, 36, had the men's preferred hairstyle and a 44-year-old Jennifer Aniston's was their preferred forehead shape. The differences seen in the results from men and women are quite extreme so when it comes to female looks - perhaps men really are from Mars and women from Venus?”

Oh, please. We didn’t need a beauty survey to tell us that.
