While I get to give "the buzz" every week, viewers like you have countless great ideas that deserve a moment in the spotlight. In fact, many of you have sent creative concepts my way, and while I'd like to showcase them all, I wanted to highlight a few that caught my eye recently. If you have an inventive idea you'd like to share with me, save yourself the postage and add images or links to the comments section below or at Bobbie.com!
Developed by mom Shelly Ehler, who was looking for a better way to help her kids dry off and change after a day in the water, ShowNo towels are one part towel, one part portable changing room. Conveniently kid-sized, the plush cover-ups have slits in the top allowing little ones to slip their heads through, providing privacy to change as well as protection from the sun. The wearable towels are easy to tote around and are also great for boat rides and chilly nights near the beach ($19.99; Showno.com)
Something that only a mom could dream up, Le Bibble is a 6-in-1 "baby bottle bib," designed to make feeding simpler and more stylish. The organic cotton elastic rings come in 10 pretty patterns that fit around all bottle tops, giving babies something soft to hold on to and moms an extra barrier against dribble. Made in the USA, the rings are machine washable with a portion of proceeds going to benefit women and children in need ($12; LeBibble.com)
Bow Snappers are an another adorable invention I was delighted to read about in my inbox. Created by moms, Bow Snappers are a system of interchangeable ribbon pieces that can be layered and snapped together to create cute, customized accents for apparel, hair, gifts and more. You can even buy beanies, headbands and socks with pre-applied snaps so kids can craft their own styles, while moms who love put-together looks will no longer waste time searching for that perfect bow. ($0.49-$24.99; BowSnappers.com)
Sherri B Designs
Sherri B is a new favorite who reached out by sending me samples of her jewelry collection. Self-described as "funky and unique," Sherri's pieces are available for purchase via her Facebook page. Items feature Swarovski Crystals, fresh water pearls, precious stones and more. I love that each piece is handmade and with custom designs available, I'm happy to be able to let everyone know about her! ($50.00 and up; Bohemianluv.com)
