Who needs jewelry when your neckline makes a statement? If you go for a blouse with a high neck or a pussy-bow blouse with a bold bow, pair with high-waisted black pants and pumps for a chic ensemble.

2. Lace
Lace is back in a big way! From just a touch of the fabric to all-over looks, lace is just about everywhere this season. One of Vazquez's favorite ways to wear lace is by pairing it with distressed denim and bold pumps for an edgy, modern twist.

3. Ruffles
Whether it's big, dramatic ruffles or just a tiny bit of added frill, winter is the perfect time to make a girly statement. With such a party on the top, Vazquez suggests keeping it simple on the bottom. One of her favorite looks for this season is to wear a ruffled blouse with a velvet skirt or pants (another big trend for the season).

4. Embroidery
From abstract patterns to florals, embroidery adds a special, unique touch. In fact, it's one of the easiest ways to make a statement and have some fun with your outfit. If you go for an embroidered top, pair it a classic skirt, pumps and you're ready for any occasion.
