American freestyle skier David Wise knows he stands out among the crowd not just for his skills, but for being both a husband and father.
But the 23-year-old says that being a family man makes him a better skier.
"It really just kind of takes the pressure off for me because win, lose or fall, I have my family there," Wise said. "And they’re always going to love and support me, and that’s freeing: I can just go out and enjoy it. And when I am enjoying it, and when I am skiing with that mentality, I ski better anyways."
