Figure skating triple-Salchowed its way past skiing, bobsledding, snowboarding and the Opening Ceremony to take home the gold medal in TODAY's week-long Olympic event face-off.
It's perfect timing, folks. The first-ever figure skating team event started Thursday, and continues Saturday with the ladies short, short dance and pair free programs.
But even though the Opening Ceremony came in second, be sure to tune in for it Friday night. According to Meredith, "if they pull it off, it's going to be fantastic."
