Whale sharks comes to the bagans (fishing boats) searching for food. Usually, they are not welcome by the fisherman, but in this specific location, it's a differnt history! They develop a good relationship wiht them, as they think they bring good luck. So, the fisherman let them such on their fishing nets. I was luck to have one with wide open mouth coming in my direction with the pagan in the background. Cendrawasih bay, West Papua, Indonesia

During the end of dry season in the Pantanal wetland , Caimans ( Caiman yacare) concentrate in huge numbers along of the last remaining lakes still with fish. In these densely populated ponds they wait for the first rains of the wet season to start mating. The picture shows a lake located in a remote area of Northern Pantanal, Mato Grosso state, Brazil. It was at november and the rains were just starting. I've used a long exposure for the natural light. For the foreground and eyes I fired strobes in the end of the exposure. A continuos light next to the trees. Caimans are really static when they are thermoregulating. There was also a bright moon behind of the clouds.

México, Baja California, La Paz. Just out of La Paz bay, and before Espiritu Santo Island, is a channel, about 60 ft deep. In that area you can find a sunken ship that attracts big schools of fishes, and this fishes attracts Sea Lions. They usually come by groups, and spend most of the day playing and resting in the surface. For me, being in the presence of this beautiful animals was like a dream come true, and I inmediately fall in love with them. This images is flipped to make it more surreal, to allow the viewers to enter in the realm of dreams, love and light. I used post crop vignetting in lightroom and the image is flipped.
