Sleeping beauties

Sweet dreams are made of this: Photographers Tracy Raver and Kelley Ryden capture the calm contentment of napping newborns in these adorable portraits. Based in Nebraska, the photographers specialize in getting images of babies around two weeks old. Ryden says they are naturally going to be very sleepy when they are this fresh to the world. Tracy and Kelley have photographed countless newborns since starting in 2006, which has given them a lot of practice. "We can predict what their needs are even before they know! " she said. "This helps to keep them calm, asleep and most importantly safe at all times."
