Artist makes portraits of musicians from breakfast cereal

Michael Jackson has never looked so good! Bronx artist Sarah Rosado created a series of famous musician portraits using Corn Flakes. Here, the King of Pop is lovingly rendered in the popular breakfast cereal.

To create each image, she listens to the music of whomever’s portrait she is working on at the time and “gets into the zone,” letting her imagination run wild.

“It’s a little overwhelming but exciting at the same time,” Rosado told TODAY.com about the viral response to her Corn Flakes series. “I never thought my art would get noticed being self taught.”

The inspiration for the series came one morning when Rosado was eating Corn Flakes and listening to John Lennon. She thought it may be interesting to recreate his face out of the cereal. And it definitely is.

Known by her beehive hairdo and Cleopatra makeup, this singer-songwriter shot to fame with the album "Back to Black."

R&B singer-songwriter, pianist, musician and actress sports big hoop earings in her own Corn Flake portrait.

This singer was referred to as the "Princess of R&B" and "Queen of Urban Pop."

Rosado hopes some of the artists — particularly Jennifer Lopez who shares Rosado’s hispanic heritage — notice her work.
