The British supergroup brought a large number of fans to their TODAY concert on August 23, 2013 and they were eager to hear all of their hits. Jimmy Buffet on the road again

Jimmy Buffet kicked off his shoes to sing new songs and old classics for Parrotheads and casual fans on August 15, 2013. He performed classic hits like “Margaritaville” and “Fins” along with new tunes from his upcoming studio record, “Songs from St. Somewhere."

The laid-back songster is back on the road after being “on vacation,” and is producing a Broadway production of the 2003 movie “Big Fish.”

Flo Rida dazzles on the plaza

Wearing a sparkly gold head of Jesus necklace, Flo Rida made a last-minute appearance on the TODAY plaza on August 9, 2013, as scheduled singer Michael Buble cancelled to be by his wife's side as she went into labor (it was a false alarm). The rapper pumped up the crowd with energetic performances of four songs: "Wild Ones," "Can't Believe It," "Whistle" and "I Cry." The rapper’s next album will be released in October.

All in the family: The Band Perry performs on the plaza

Singer Kimberly Perry, alongside brothers Neil and Reid Perry, got the crowd going on August 2, 2013, while performing a few of their catchy country tunes. The Band Perry is truly a family affair: even mom and dad tour around with the siblings, mostly as "Starbucks runners," Kimberly said.

Robin Thicke heats up the plaza with triple platinum hit

Robin Thicke fans packed the plaza to hear the 36-year-old's performance of his summer hit, “Blurred Lines,” which spent 7 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard charts.

When asked about the controversy surrounding the lyrics of his song, the singer replied, “When we made the song we had nothing but the most respect for women.”

Train pulls into the TODAY plaza

Train performed a few of their songs for the plaza crowd on July 26, including hit single "Hey, Soul Sister." Singer Pat Monahan revealed a second career aspiration: TODAY anchor.
