Pitbull to fans: 'Give Me Everything'

Rapper Pitbull gave a high-energy plaza performance on the eve of Thanksgiving 2012, Nov. 21. His set included "Back in Time" from the film "Men in Black 3" and "Give Me Everything."

Flamboyant singer and rapper Kesha was the plaza performer on Nov. 20, 2012. Her songs included "We R Who We R," "Blow," and "Die Young."

Aptly named Florida singer-songwriter Flo Rida performed on the plaza on Nov. 19, 2012. His songs included "I Cry," "Wild Ones," "Let It Roll" and the huge hit "Whistle."

It was K-pop "Gangnam Style" on Rockefeller Plaza on Sept. 14, 2012, the day South Korean rapper PSY brought his phenomenal international hit to the heart of New York City.

Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty greeted fans on Rockefeller Plaza on Sept. 3, 2012, as the rock band closed the Toyota Concert Series' summer season. Their set included "3 AM," "She's So Mean," "How Far We've Come" and "Overjoyed."

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jason Mraz performed his multi-platinum hit "I'm Yours" and songs from his new album "Love" on TODAY. He also sang the duet "Distance" with Christina Perri.

British teen sensation Cher Lloyd performed her hit song "Want U Back" on August 30 for fans on the plaza. Wearing a brightly colored tutu and black sneakers, she told TODAY, "I didn't expect anyone to know me here."

Singer Pat Monahan and guitar player Jimmy Stafford of Train performed their hit songs "50 Ways to Say Goodbye", "Hey Soul Sister", "If It's Love", and viewer's choice "Drive By" on August 24, 2012. Monahan told Matt Lauer that the band has never had more fun together.

There are a lot of parodies of Carly Rae Jepsen's hit song "Call Me Maybe" but fans packed the plaza eager for the original performed on August 23, 2012. Jepsen also performed the duet "Good Time" with Owl City.

On August 23, 2012, fans packed on the plaza were treated to a performance of Owl City's quadruple-platinum hit "Fireflies" from the 2009 album “Ocean Eyes.”

For the first time in 10 years, 98 Degrees reunited to once again perform in front of a cheering crowd, singing hits "Invisible Man," "I do" and "Because of You" on August 17, 2012. "I think you can expect more from us down the line," Nick Lachey hinted to Savannah Guthrie after the performance.

Lionel Richie proved he hasn't lost his touch after over three decades of performing. The pop crooner got fans dancing on the plaza with renditions of his classic hits like "Dancing on the Ceiling" and "Easy Like Sunday Morning" on August 16, 2012. He later serenaded Kathie Lee a few lines from her favorite song, "Stay," for her birthday.

A red hot Nicki Minaj rocked the plaza stage with a performance of her hit song, “Starships,” and a medley of “I Am Your Leader” and “Beez in the Trap” on August 14, 2012.

Carrie Underwood gets the crowd going on the plaza while performing her 15th number one single, “Good Girl,” and one of her first big hits, “Before He Cheats,” on August 15, 2012.

The Fray played to a packed plaza in matching neon sneakers, performing hits "You Found Me" and "Heartbeat." Lead singer Isaac Slade even mounted the piano to belt out a few notes during the 2012 Toyota Concert Series on August 13, 2012.

Nash Overstreet and Ryan Follese, members of Hot Chelle Rae, performed their hits "Tonight, Tonight" and "I Like It Like That" for fans on the plaza during the 2012 Toyota Concert Series on July 20, 2012.

Friday the 13th, 2012, was a lucky day for fans of Southern-style rock as Zac Brown and the Zac Brown Band returned to Rockefeller Plaza.

Rapper Flo Rida, who has sold nearly 60 million singles worldwide, says his goal with his new album is to watch his fans "go crazy." Well, he succeeded with getting folks on the plaza in party mode!

Band Maroon 5 plays the plaza on June 29, sharing song "One More NIght" from their latest album, "Overexposed," with 12,000 fans. "I love being in my band," said singer Adam Levine.

Country superstar Kenny Chesney performed for thousands of fans on the packed TODAY plaza on June 22, 2012. The crowd went wild during his rendition of "Summertime," the winning song from TODAY'S viewers' choice vote.

An army of Beliebers shrieked when Justin Bieber took over the TODAY plaza stage on June 15, 2012. Many fans had camped out days before, and their wait was rewarded with performances of 'Boyfriend,' 'Baby' and 'All Around the World.' The teen idol later assured Lauer he's all right after suffering a concussion last month in Paris.

Breezy makes the crowd go wild on the TODAY plaza, dialing up the auto-tune and singing hits like "Forever," "Turn up the Music" and more on June 8, 2012. And, of course, he had fans mesmerized by his body-bending dance moves.

He also told TODAY that he's been drug-free for seven and a half years and said his latest song, "Don't Let Me Die," was not about Whitney Houston, and was instead about his fiancee, Alicia.

Pitbull, a.k.a. "Mr. 305," gets the morning plaza crowd up and dancing with his hits on May 25, 2012. Suited up, the star also tells TODAY about writing music for "Men in Black" and clarifies that his music is "global" and shouldn't be pigeonholed.

Superstar Usher kicked off the 2012 Toyota Concert Series on the plaza May 18, performing his hits "OMG," "Without You," and his new single, "Climax" -- which he says it's not about sex, rather about reaching a crossroads in a relationship.
