Bruno Mars is set to plead guilty to cocaine possession after being caught with the drug last September. According to US reports, Mars, real name Peter Hernandez, will accept the charge after he was spotted carrying a bag of white powder by a toilet attendant at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel. Clark County District Attorney David Roger told the Las Vegas Review Journal that the singer will be sentenced to a year of probation and will have to pay a $2,000 fine, perform 200 hours of community service and attend drug counselling. Nicole \"Snooki\" Polizzi was arrested on the beach around 3:25 p.m. Friday and charged with disorderly conduct, said Seaside Heights Police Chief Thomas Boyd. That came after other beachgoers reported Polizzi was bothering them. Polizzi was taken to police headquarters, where she was processed and released on a summons.

The 30-year-old punk rocker was behind the wheel of his black BMW convertible when police pulled him over for speeding. After smelling booze on his breath, police administered a Breathalyer test, with Armstrong blowing a .18, more than twice the state's legal limit of .08.

Paul Reubens (aka Pee-wee Herman) turned himself in to Los Angeles police in November 2002 after being charged with misdemeanor possession of kiddie porn. It was not the first run-in with the law for the 50-year-old actor, who was arrested by Florida cops in July 1991 and charged with indecent exposure. Pee-wee, who was nabbed at an adult movie house, later pleaded no contest to the charge. He was fined, had to pay court costs, and ordered to produce an anti-drug public service announcement.

Sid Vicious, bassist for the Sex Pistols, was arrested by New York police for the October 1978 murder of girlfriend Nancy Spungen. Sid's subsequent drug overdose spared him the indignity of a homicide trial.

Actress and activist Jane Fonda was arrested in November 1970 in Cleveland, Ohio after getting into a scuffle with law enforcement officers at an airport. U.S. Customs agents busted Fonda, 32 at the time, for having over a hundred vials of pills in her possession. Charges were later dropped after it was found that some of the pills were vitamins and others were legally prescribed to her.

Jimi Hendrix was arrested at Toronto International Airport airport in May 1969 after customs inspectors found heroin and hashish in his luggage. Hendrix, who claimed the drugs were slipped into his bag by a fan without his knowledge, was later acquitted of the charges.

Frank Sinatra was arrested by the Bergen County, New Jersey sheriff in 1938 and charged with carrying on with a married woman. The charge was later changed to adultery, and eventually dismissed.
