    Thailand's Ambassador to Israel Angsana Sihapitak feeds Asian elephant Tamar after receiving a donation for the Lampang conservation centre in Thailand, at the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo, in Jerusalem November 5th. The Zoo raised the donation money for the Lampang conservation centre, where Tamar arrived from 20 years ago, involving contributions by local children through an animal awareness project, said Zoo officials.

    An Olive Ridley turtle hatchling (Lepidochelys olivacea) crawls towards the ocean after being released in Mazatlan, Mexico, November 7th. The Mazatlan Aquarium on Saturday released 300 hatchlings into the Pacific as part of a program to protect and recover the endangered species. Millions of baby turtles hatch on the shores in November and December, according to environmental groups.

    The commute is a zoo

    A camel is led down 6th Avenue after being blessed by Cardinal Timothy Dolan at the start of rehearsals for "Living Nativity" in the 2015 Radio City Christmas Spectacular on November 5th in New York City. Camels, sheep and a pony were included in the early morning procession to the front of Radio City Music Hall where the animals were greeted by members of the Rockettes.

    A crocodile opens its mouth as it lies on a mud bank at a farm owned by the Rosenthal family in San Manuel Cortes, northern Honduras, Wednesday, November 6th. Thousands of crocodiles on the private farm have been poorly fed because of a lack of resources, according to authorities and employees at the property, after the bank accounts of the owners were seized during a probe into accusations they were operating a money laundering network linked to drug trafficking. Farm employees said the animals went without food for more than a month, but were finally fed over the weekend thanks to donations.

    A gaggle of geese stands in a pasture in Strem in Austria's Burgenland province, November 4th. Breeder Siegfried Marth is raising some 700 geese organically for the traditional 'Martin Goose' (Martini Gansl) dinner in celebration of St. Martin each year. The feast of St. Martin of Tours (also called "Martini") marks the time when new wines are tasted, cattle are butchered and geese are at their prime. This feast is celebrated in German-speaking Europe on November 11 usually with a roast goose.
